  • Hello Mrjackolantern2007,

As you probably know, the Bambi Wiki features a different page each month. This featured page should be a well-written article about an important character or story. For the month of September 2020, do you have any recommendations as to which page should be featured? Once again, a good featured page will be detailed, well-written, and, ideally, one of the highest quality pages on the entire Bambi Wiki. It would also be great if the page had some sort of connection to the month in which it will be featured, but this is not necessary. Feel free to message me with any ideas you have for the featured page for this month, September 2020.

    Sincerely,

    TheMidgetMoose

    • Upon further consideration, I am now in favor of featuring Felix Salten's page in honor of his 151st birthday. Does that sound like a good idea to you? I will wait until September 5 but will then make a decision as I cannot risk the entire month slipping away.

  • Hey Mrjackolantern2007!

Is the image seen here -- https://bambi.fandom.com/wiki/File:Fawn_104683805.jpg -- an image of Bambi or a character from Bambi or any other work covered by the Bambi Wiki's scope of focus, or is it just a random fawn? My thought is that images of random fawns shouldn't be hosted on this wiki. We don't want to fill this site with non-Bambi related material.

  • Hey Mrjackolantern2007,

I just wanted to message again to remind you to please give your images sensical and readable names. As per Bambi Wiki policy, "Images posted on this wiki should have a proper name such as 'Bambi 1 JPG', not a nonsensical, off-topic name like 'ndvkdjbjnbgkjfbh JPG'."

Have a great day, and thank you so much for all the valuable images you've added to this website. I just hope you remember to give them proper names in the future.

    Sincerely,

    TheMidgetMoose

  • Hello Mrjackolantern2007,

First of all, I want to thank you for all the work you've done for the Bambi Wiki over the past year. You've added many useful images and have contributed greatly! I can't thank you enough for helping to expand and grow this wiki.

I wanted to message you mainly to ask about these images that you uploaded a while back and have now added to the Great Prince of the Forest's gallery. The images I'm inquiring about are the following:

    C473cd91962e360-a-nw-p

    and

    92cd19cad80b0ef2ef0adec3fefd999c--bambi--the-forest .

Where did these images from? I don't think I've ever seen them outisde of this wiki and knowing their origin is definitely a good thing. Really, when their origin is not made explicit by the heading of the section of the gallery they are placed in, images should bear a caption stating where it came from.

Also, the Bambi Wiki policies read that "Images posted on this wiki should have a proper name such as 'Bambi 1 JPG', not a nonsensical, off-topic name like 'ndvkdjbjnbgkjfbh JPG'." I completely understand if you weren't aware of this rule previously, but please try to give your images more proper names in the future. It helps with searches for images!

Once again, thanks for all that you've done. You're a great contributor to this website,

    Sincerely,

    TheMidgetMoose
