Background

Biography:

Bambi:

The hunting dogs only made one appearance in the first film, when Man released 13 of his hunting dogs, and they chased Faline, but Bambi fights them off, allowing Faline to escape.

Bambi II:

The hunting dogs made two appearances in the midquel:

Their first appearance was when Man tricked Bambi into going out onto the meadow, using a deer call that sounded like his mother. When he got there, Man released 3 hunting dogs. Bambi was frozen in fear and only ran after his father, the Great Prince of the Forest, fought off the hunting dogs, knocked him down with his antlers, and yelled at him to run.

Their second appearance was after Mena got caught in Man's snare trap. After Ronno cowardly ran away to save himself, Mena yelled Bambi's mother's last words, and Bambi was determined not to let history repeat itself. Bambi distracted the 4 dogs away from Mena, and Bambi's father arrived and freed Mena from the snare trap. The first dog was sprayed by Flower's skunk spray and he ran away, the second dog was stuck by the Porcupine after Bambi flung him at the dog, the third dog fell from mountain's loose rocks after the fourth dog climbed up to the rock Bambi was standing on, and Bambi kicked fourth dog off the mountain with his hooves.
