It seems to me that you are scatterbrained and overconfident.
Bambi's assessment of Gurri from Barthold Fles's translation of Bambi's Children

Gurri is the younger daughter of Bambi and Faline. She is the deuteragonist of Bambi's Children, and a minor character in the 1942 film, Bambi.

Background[]

Gurri is the younger sister of Geno and the older sister of Ferto. She has two grandmothers, Aunt Ena and Bambi's mother, and one grandfather, The Great Prince of the Forest. Her aunt is Rolla and her cousins are Boso and Lana.

Personality[]

Gurri can be described as happy, energetic, and confident while perhaps being a bit of a ditz. When she was a fawn, her own father told her that she seemed "scatterbrained and overconfident". After she was captured by Man, she began to have a slightly different outlook on the world and began sympathizing with predators. She also became somewhat more serious than before and became closer to her father.

Behind the Scenes[]

Gurri, along with her twin brother Geno, is implied to have appeared at the end of Bambi: A Life in the Woods. That novel, penned by Felix Salten in 1922, ends with Bambi meeting twin fawns who are searching for their mother. Bambi notices that one of the fawns resembles him while the other resembles Faline, implying that the fawns might be their children.

It wouldn't be until 17 years later, in Salten's novel Bambi's Children, that it was finally revealed that Bambi and Faline did in fact become the parents of twin fawns, a boy and a girl. The girl fawn's name was revealed to be Gurri, while the boy fawn was named Geno. Geno and Gurri are the main protagonists of Bambi's Children, which follows their lives and conflicts.

Gurri's first appearance in animation was in 1942, when she appeared at the end of the animated feature film Bambi, appearing alongside Geno.
